Service Description
Saturday 29th August 1.30 - 4.30pm A maximum of 12 participants Escape to the coast and discover Kinusaiga — the meditative Japanese art of "painting with fabric." In this immersive 3-hour workshop, you'll learn to transform fabric scraps into a stunning, textured coastal scene, no sewing required. Guided step by step, you'll sketch your design, cut your pattern, and tuck carefully chosen fabric pieces into a foam board to build a rich, dimensional artwork inspired by the sea around you. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned crafter, Kinusaiga is wonderfully accessible and endlessly rewarding. Leave with a one-of-a-kind piece you made with your own hands, and a new skill rooted in Japanese textile tradition. Want to display it straight away? A frame is available to purchase on the day for just £10. All materials are provided. No experience necessary.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
