Each exhibition is thoughtfully selected around a theme, with a focus on creating a cohesive and considered collection within the gallery.
'My Happy Place'

Ever wanted to be part of an art exhibition?
This summer, we’re inviting everyone to take part in something really special at Sage and Salt Studio.
Simply purchase one of our 20 × 20 cm boards, take it home, and create your own interpretation of “My Happy Place”. It could be a landscape, a memory, a feeling, something abstract… whatever happiness looks like to you.
No experience needed. No rules on style. Just your creativity.
All completed pieces will be exhibited together in a joyful, community-led show this June, with every artwork displayed and available for sale at £50.
Plus, there are prizes to be won:
-
A £100 People’s Choice Award for the adult category
-
Art kit prizes for each children’s age group
-
Boards are limited and sold on a first come, first served basis, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Whether you’re a practising artist or just fancy having a go, we’d love to see what you create!

The Coastal Edit
Exhibition dates: 3rd July – 15th August 2026
Application opens 16th April 2026
Application deadline: 14th May 2026 at 11:59pm
We will soon be inviting applications for The Coastal Edit, a curated exhibition at Sage and Salt Studio in Petersfield, Hampshire. Applications will open on Thursday 16th April 2026.
This exhibition will explore the colours, textures and atmosphere of the coastline, from soft seascapes and shoreline studies to work inspired by tides, salt air and collected treasures.
We are looking for artists working across a range of disciplines whose work responds to this theme in a thoughtful and original way.
We are particularly interested in work that:
-
Demonstrates a strong individual style
-
Shows attention to detail and quality of finish
-
Connects clearly to the exhibition theme
-
Sits well within a cohesive, curated collection
