Adele at Labrador and More
Born out of a shared passion for creation and a love for furry companions, Adele embarked on a delightful journey alongside her sister Fran to establish “Labrador and More.” Inspired by Fran’s mischievous pair of labradors, they began by crafting charming decorations and cozy cushions.
However, Adele’s yearning to infuse essential oils into everyday essentials led her into the world soap making. Combining an interest in all things natural and plant based, with a keen sense of smell and passion for creativity, Adele made her first soaps in 2021.
Determined to craft truly natural products Adele formulates her soaps, body butters and lip balms from the highest quality oils and butters, essential oils and herbs from her garden in Milland.
Just like in cooking Adele believes in the power of simplicity, why settle for skin care full of complicated ingredients when you wouldn’t do the same with your food.
Adele’s mission is to create fresh beautifully scented plant-based products without unnecessary additives, all wrapping is plastic free and recyclable.
Four Hands Glass
Jo studied fine art sculpture at Staffordshire University, graduating with a first class BAHons. On leaving college she worked for a model making company in Hertfordshire sculpting the original models for cartoon characters that were to be mass produced. After 3 years Jo left to combine teaching with a small part time glass etching business. Part time quickly became full time & Jo began a larger scale business operating from workshop premises in Watford where her grandfather & father used to run a shoe repair business for over 50 years. With her mother involved with bookkeeping & deliveries, it was a real family business.

Nine years later and with business booming, Jo's partner Adam came on board too, applying business skills from his corporate background whilst learning the etching processes. Together they formed ‘Four Hands’. Since 2006 the emphasis of Four Hands has changed somewhat from a craft show heavy schedule (42 in 2007) to concentrating efforts on commission work whilst maintaining a presence at what they consider to be some of the finest craft shows in the country.
