Service Description
Saturday 19th September 10.30am - 1.30pm A maximum of 10 participants This workshop offers a beginner-friendly introduction to creating simple repeat patterns using linocut printmaking. After a short demonstration of the tools and techniques, you’ll design and carve a small lino block that has been carefully planned so the design repeats when printed. Using simple shapes, lines and marks, you’ll carve a block that connects at the edges, allowing the print to repeat and build a continuous pattern. Once carved, you’ll learn how to ink your block and print it multiple times to create a one-colour pattern. By the end of the session you’ll have created your own repeating pattern print to take home. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
