How it all began
Sage and Salt Studio grew from a simple idea: that creativity should be accessible to everyone.
After many happy years as a secondary school science teacher, our founder, Sarah-Jane Beacher, followed her lifelong love of art and making to create something a little different. A place where local artists could showcase their work, where people could discover unique handmade gifts, and where creativity could bring people together.
Today, Sage and Salt Studio is much more than a gallery or gift shop. Alongside original artwork and handmade treasures, you'll find creative workshops, our much-loved Craft Pantry and a welcoming community of people who simply enjoy making and discovering beautiful things.
