Discover the beautiful art of paper wire and create a collection of charming, vintage-inspired Christmas decorations using wire, old-style music sheets and book pages. During this creative workshop, you’ll learn how to work with paper-covered wire, shaping and twisting it by hand to form the outline of your chosen Christmas designs. Once your frame has been created, you’ll add carefully cut pieces of vintage-style paper to bring your decoration to life, before finishing it with ribbons, buttons, beads and other festive embellishments. There will be a selection of Christmas designs and ideas to inspire you, from stars, Christmas trees and angels to holly, mistletoe, hearts and other festive shapes. You can choose to create decorations to hang from your Christmas tree or make larger freestanding pieces to display on a shelf, mantelpiece or Christmas table. The combination of delicate wire outlines and nostalgic printed papers creates decorations with a wonderfully timeless feel. Music sheets are particularly lovely for Christmas, while vintage-style book pages add another layer of character and charm. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with different shapes, papers and finishing touches, so no two pieces will be exactly the same. Whether you love a traditional Christmas look, a simple Scandinavian-inspired style or something a little more whimsical, you can make your decorations completely your own. No previous experience is needed. You’ll be guided through the techniques for shaping the wire, attaching your paper and adding the finishing details, making this a relaxing and accessible workshop for beginners. Come along for some festive creative time and leave with a collection of beautiful handmade Christmas decorations to enjoy in your home year after year, or give them as thoughtful handmade gifts to friends and family. All materials and tuition are included.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
