Service Description
Sunday 1st November 10:30am - 1:30pm Discover the relaxing and rewarding art of Kinusaiga in this creative workshop, where you'll have the freedom to create a design that is uniquely yours. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form that uses carefully placed pieces of fabric to create beautiful, textured artwork, all without any sewing. Using a specially prepared board, you'll learn how to tuck colourful fabrics into fine grooves to build your chosen design. Unlike our themed workshops, this session gives you complete creative freedom. You can choose from a wide range of templates on the day, including wildlife such as hares, foxes and birds, coastal scenes, landscapes, flowers and other nature-inspired designs. If you're feeling confident, you're also welcome to create your own original design. Sarah-Jane will guide you through every step of the process, from preparing your design and selecting fabrics to adding the finishing touches. Whether you're completely new to Kinusaiga or returning to develop your skills, you'll receive plenty of individual support throughout the workshop. This is a wonderfully mindful and absorbing craft that encourages you to slow down, enjoy working with colour and texture, and leave with a beautiful piece of artwork you'll be proud to display. All materials are provided, including a wide selection of quality cotton fabrics. Your finished artwork can be taken home professionally framed on the day for an additional £10. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Ages 12+.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
