Service Description
Saturday 27th June 2:30 - 5pm A maximum of 12 participants Join artist Sue Woodger for a beautifully calming mixed media workshop where you will create your own 8 inch framed artwork featuring a graceful duo or trio of swimming koi. Sue will provide pre cut koi shapes, which you will paint under her gentle guidance using watercolours and inks. You will explore blending, layering and adding delicate detail to bring your fish to life, focusing on flowing fins, expressive markings and movement. You will then paint your own atmospheric background, building soft washes and subtle textures to suggest depth and water. Once dry, your painted koi will be carefully arranged and layered on top of your background, creating a lovely three dimensional effect and a real sense of movement across the piece. Sue will guide you through composition and placement so your final artwork feels balanced and harmonious. Your finished piece will be mounted and framed, ready to take home and display. A mindful, creative session suitable for all abilities.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
