Tuesday 15th December 11am - 2pm A maximum of 6 participants Get started with stained glass this Christmas with the perfect introduction to the beautiful craft! Join us for a festive stained glass workshop where you’ll learn the traditional techniques used to create your very own Christmas stained glass ornament. Perfect for complete beginners, you’ll be guided through the process step by step, from cutting your first piece of glass through to soldering, polishing and adding those all-important finishing touches. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created a beautiful handmade decoration to take home and hang up year after year. What you’ll learn: - How to cut, shape and smooth stained glass using a pattern - How to apply copper foil and burnish your glass - How to work safely with flux and a soldering iron - How to solder your pieces together to create a professional finish - How to clean and polish your finished ornament What’s included: - Step-by-step tuition and individual support throughout the workshop - All glass, materials, tools and equipment - Everything you need to create your own stained glass Christmas ornament - Unlimited tea, coffee and soft drinks No previous stained glass experience is needed. This workshop is designed especially for beginners and anyone who would love to try this fascinating craft in a friendly and supportive environment. Important information For safety, please wear suitable clothing and fully enclosed footwear. Sandals and open-toed shoes cannot be worn during the workshop. Please avoid loose clothing and dangling jewellery, and long hair must be tied back. You will be standing to work for approximately the first half of the workshop. Pregnancy: Working with solder can present risks during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, please consult your GP before booking or attending this workshop.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
