Friday 5th February 6 - 8pm A maximum of 4 participants Discover the beautiful art of pyrography and learn how to transform simple pieces of wood into your own unique, handmade creations. Pyrography, also known as wood burning, is the technique of using a heated pen to create beautiful designs, patterns and illustrations on wood. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you'll be introduced to the tools and techniques needed to get started, with plenty of guidance and encouragement along the way. You'll learn how to use a pyrography pen safely and confidently, exploring different tips, marks, shading and techniques to bring your designs to life. We'll also cover preparing your wooden surfaces, transferring designs onto wood and adding those all-important finishing touches. After some time practising and getting comfortable with your pen, you'll create at least one wooden bookmark and one coaster to take home, each decorated with your own designs. With a maximum of just four participants, this is a wonderfully personal workshop where you'll have plenty of space to work, individual attention from your tutor and the freedom to learn at your own pace. No previous experience or artistic ability is needed, just a steady hand, a little patience and a willingness to try something new! Whether you're looking to explore a new creative hobby or simply enjoy a couple of hours learning something different, this small-group workshop is a lovely opportunity to discover the magic of wood burning. There's something rather special about turning a simple piece of wood into a beautiful handmade keepsake!

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
