Service Description
Saturday 4th April 1.30-4.30pm A maximum of 12 spaces available Celebrate the arrival of spring with this calm and uplifting Spring Animals Kinusaiga Workshop. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form that involves creating an image from fabric pieces carefully fitted into a surface, producing a beautiful collage-style artwork with no sewing required. In this relaxing, hands-on session, you’ll design and create your own spring animal artwork. Think gentle hares, birds, lambs or woodland creatures, brought to life using a thoughtfully curated selection of colourful fabrics. You’re very welcome to bring along your own fabrics too, especially if you’d like to include something meaningful or personal in your piece. You can work from your own reference image or choose from a selection of spring animal designs provided on the day. Your tutor will guide you step by step through creating your template and assembling your artwork, helping you build confidence with the technique while enjoying the slow, mindful process. Suitable for all abilities, this therapeutic workshop offers a lovely creative pause and a chance to welcome spring through colour, texture and gentle making. You can choose to take your finished piece home framed for an additional £10, payable on the day.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
