Service Description
Monday 2nd March 1 - 4pm A maximum of 12 spaces available Join us for a relaxed and inspiring workshop exploring loose, expressive floral painting in watercolour with experienced textile designer Sarah Metcalfe. This session is all about letting go and enjoying the flow of paint. You will experiment with wet-on-wet techniques, liquid watercolour inks and the beautiful, slightly magical effects of bleaching. Sarah will guide you through creating a series of floral compositions, with the aim of finishing the workshop with one larger, frameable piece of artwork to take home. High quality paper, inks and all materials are provided, along with plenty of reference images and optional templates to support anyone who feels less confident with sketching. Whether you are completely new to watercolour or already enjoy painting, this workshop is designed to feel accessible, encouraging and fun. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, this makes a lovely creative experience to share. Mothers and daughters are very welcome to book together, or you may choose to create a special piece as a gift. Open to all abilities. All materials included.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
