Service Description
Saturday 6th June 9:30am - 1pm A maximum of 8 spaces available Discover how to create your own beautiful fine silver botanical jewellery using ‘magical’ precious metal clay. In this inspiring 3.5 hour beginners’ workshop, you will use real flowers and leaves to press delicate textures and natural patterns into silver clay, capturing the intricate details of nature in your design. Silver clay is made from 100% recycled silver which, when fired, becomes 99.9% pure fine silver. Kath will guide you through this fascinating process step by step, covering texturing, shaping, refining, firing, burnishing and polishing. While botanicals will be the main focus, Kath will also bring along a wide selection of her texture mats and moulds, so you are free to explore additional patterns and shapes if you prefer. A 7g pack of Art Clay Silver is included in the course fee, which is enough to create at least one pendant or a pair of drop earrings. Chains and extra clay will be available to purchase if required, and a card machine will be available for any additional payments on the day. Please bring a bottle of water. You are very welcome to bring snacks, and biscuits will be provided. For safety, please wear closed shoes, avoid loose or floaty sleeves and scarves, and tie long hair back for the workshop.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
