Service Description
Saturday 9 May 11am - 2pm Maximum 7 participants Discover the beautiful craft of stained glass in this hands-on Stained Glass Cactus Workshop, perfect for beginners who want to try something a little different. During this creative session, you’ll learn the traditional techniques used in stained glass making as you create your own decorative cactus. Your tutor will guide you step-by-step through cutting and shaping glass, smoothing the edges, applying copper foil, and using soldering tools to assemble your design. You’ll then clean and polish your finished piece so it’s ready to display. To complete your creation, you’ll also paint a terracotta pot, giving you the chance to add colour and personality that perfectly complements your glass cactus. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a unique handcrafted stained glass cactus displayed in your own painted pot. A striking piece of art that will brighten any shelf or windowsill. What’s included: • Step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor • All stained glass tools and materials • Copper foiling and soldering equipment • Terracotta pot and paints • Your finished stained glass cactus to take home Important information: All health and safety equipment is provided and safe working practices will be explained throughout the session. As the workshop involves working with lead and specialist chemicals, anyone who is pregnant or trying to conceive is advised to seek medical advice before booking. The workshop also involves standing for most of the session and is located upstairs. Suitable for beginners aged 16+

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
