Every Tuesday 4 - 5pm starting Tuesday 14th April until Tuesday 19th May 2026 A maximum of 8 children aged 7 - 11 years old In this six-week Juniors Art Club project, children will design and create their very own board game from start to finish, building one exciting project that develops week by week. They will begin by coming up with a theme for their game, from magical worlds and treasure hunts to racing challenges or fantasy adventures. Children will design their game board, create characters or playing pieces, and think carefully about the journey players will take. As the weeks progress, they will develop the rules of their game, add obstacles, rewards and surprises, and bring everything to life with colour, illustration and mixed materials. There will be opportunities to test and refine their games, encouraging problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking. This project is all about imagination, storytelling and design, while also helping children build confidence in their ideas and decision-making. By the end of the term, each child will have a fully playable, handmade board game to take home and enjoy with family and friends. All materials are included, and sessions are relaxed, supportive and suitable for a range of abilities. Perfect for children who love inventing, designing and bringing their ideas to life.
Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
