Service Description
Saturday 2nd May 2 - 4pm A maximum of 8 participants Discover the vibrant art of enamelling and create your own striking pair of copper earrings or a beautiful pendant to take home. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll transform simple copper shapes into colourful, glossy pieces of jewellery using enamel powders and heat. Guided by local artists Caterina and Sharon, you’ll learn how to prepare and clean your copper before layering it with rich enamel colours. Experiment with colour blends, decorative effects and subtle design details to make your piece completely unique. Optional techniques such as hammering for texture and incorporating touches of 925 sterling silver will also be introduced to elevate your design. You’ll then experience the magic of firing your piece in a tabletop kiln, watching the powdered glass melt and fuse to the metal to create a smooth, luminous finish. Finally, you’ll assemble your jewellery using sterling silver findings, ready to wear or gift. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Perfect for beginners as well as anyone keen to explore a new jewellery technique. Come and enjoy an inspiring session of colour, fire and creativity.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
