Important: This listing is for a workshop being held at the Carry on Crafting Festival at the South of England Showground, Selsfield Road, Ardingly, West Sussex, RH17 6TL. Sunday 12th July 10.30am - 1.30pm A maximum of 8 spaces available Discover the calming art of Kinusaiga in this relaxed and creative workshop. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese technique where pieces of fabric are carefully fitted into a surface to create a beautiful collage-style artwork, all without any sewing. During this hands-on session, you’ll create your own fabric artwork using a selection of colourful fabrics. You can choose from a range of templates provided on the day, including animals such as foxes and hares, or take inspiration from landscapes and nature. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to design your own composition. Sarah-Jane will guide you step by step through the process, from preparing your template to selecting and fitting your fabrics, helping you build confidence with this satisfying and mindful technique. This workshop is suitable for all abilities and offers a lovely opportunity to slow down, explore colour and texture, and create a unique piece of textile art. Suitable for ages 12+. You can choose to take your finished piece home framed for an additional £10, payable on the day.

Cancellation Policy
All workshop bookings at Sage and Salt Studio are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your place more than 90 days before the workshop date, we are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice (subject to availability). If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop, we cannot transfer your booking. However, you are very welcome to send someone else in your place. This must be arranged by you, and we kindly ask that you let us know the name of the person attending. In the case of a fully booked workshop with a waiting list, we will do our best to resell your place. If we are able to do so, we can transfer your booking to another workshop of your choice. We hope you understand that our tutors and team put a lot of work into preparing for workshops and, once booked, your place is held just for you.
